What is central toxic keratopathy?

Central toxic keratopathy is similar to Stage IV DLK where there has been a serious inflammatory reaction in the cornea. Cases have been reported where a clouding occurred from the surgical area to the inner layer of the cornea, lasted for months and did not appear to respond to steroid treatment.
