"Moisture chamber" glasses or goggles help to retain moisture on your eyes; they protect they eyes from air movements which may irritate them or cause more rapid evaporation in an eye with a tear film imbalance; and they protect sensitive eyes from other irritants such as dust, smoke or fumes.
