Aniseikonia

IN BRIEF

The images in each eye are not the same size, causing vision disturbances.

DISCUSSION

To achieve normal vision the images in each eye must be the same size. Aniseikonia can be a result of laser eye surgery if there is a substantially different result in one eye than the other, due to factors such as undercorrection, overcorrection, regression, or irregular ablation.
